Emma was raised in the small town of Kingston Springs, Tennessee where she spent most of her days on the Harpeth River and riding bikes with the neighborhood kids. Prior to pursing a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Emma dabbled with the idea of becoming a veterinarian. After taking a General Education course that sparked her interest in Civil Engineering, Emma decided to change career paths. Upon graduation and catching the bug to move across the country, Emma packed up her cat and dog and headed out west to Ontario, Oregon and began working for ODOT as a CE&I intern. In 2017 Emma joined T-O Engineers working on transportation and land development projects. When she isn't designing new roads or development plats, you can find Emma enjoying anything outdoors, playing soccer, and hanging out with friends and of course her cat and dog.
