Kevin was born the night the Carson-Tahoe Hospital burned down. Subsequently, he was raised on a 20-acre parcel/dog kennel south of Carson City, Nevada. Kevin spent most of his early years cleaning up after the dogs, feeding dogs, training dogs, fishing, hunting, playing baseball, shooting trap, boxing and many other outdoor activities. After High School, Kevin worked for an Engineering/Survey firm in Nevada. After several months of surveying Kevin then joined the Air Force. This took him to Texas, Germany, and California. After four years in the Air Force, Kevin returned home to pursue a career in land surveying. Kevin has spent the last 27 years learning about and working in the surveying field.
Although, Kevin has surveyed extensively in the Treasure Valley he has also worked in Oregon, Nevada, Oklahoma, North Dakota and Alberta Canada. He has worked his way up from a Survey Roadman to Head Surveyor. Kevin’s wide range of experience consists of providing engineering support, construction staking, topographic surveys, boundary surveys, ALTA/ACSM surveys, FEMA surveys, oil pipeline surveys and mine site surveying.
