Steve’s interest in water resources started early, guided by drainages to navigate the Idaho backcountry, decades before GPS. His first fluid mechanics course focused his career direction on one of the yet unsolved theories of classified physics. Steve has over 27 years of experience in the project management, design, and construction management of water resources engineering projects for transportation clients, planned developments, industrial clients, and municipalities. Specific areas of expertise include hydraulics, scour design, hydrology, floodplain and floodway analysis, and storm water management. As one of T-O’s longest standing employees, Steve has been through the trenches as well as the highest peaks, so naturally he enjoys spending time off the grid as much as possible.
