T-O Engineers, Inc., a full service planning and engineering firm, today announced it has acquired Pharmer Engineering, a Boise, Idaho based consulting firm specializing in water and wastewater treatment systems.
Founded in 2003, Pharmer Engineering was founded on industrial treatment and has developed into a leading provider of treatment facilities for municipal, private and industrial clients throughout the Treasure Valley and across North America.
Bruce Harral joins T-O Engineers as a Transportation Project Manager. Bruce comes to T-O after a long career with ITD District 5 and 3 as well as serving as a Project Manager for Connecting Idaho Partners (CIP) managing GARVEE Projects for ITD. Bruce started his career working for ITD District 5 in Pocatello where he primarily worked overseeing construction projects. He then transferred to District 3 in Boise where he continued his construction oversight on the Wye Phase I and later was appointed as a Project Administrator.
We are excited to announce that our work at Friedman Memorial Airport will be awarded with a "National Recognition Award" at the ACEC National Gala in April after also winning first place in the Transportation Category with ACEC of Idaho. We are proud of what our team has accomplished and for the recognition of their successful completion of this project.
T-O Engineers was selected for the Cove Road Bridge project for Washington County, located east of Weiser. The Local Highway Technical Assistance Council (LHTAC) will administrator this federally funded project. T-O teamed up with HDR, Inc. and will serve as a subconsultant. T-O will provide river hydraulics, survey, right of way, roadway design, drainage, and utilities. The project consists of the replacement of a 250 ft bridge over the Weiser River along with the reconstruction of 300 ft of roadway.
T-O Engineers was selected for the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) bronze award for the recent Felts Field Projects. The award provided recognition for the outstanding work on the Taxiways, Taxilanes, and Turf Runway reconstruction projects. These projects were recognized for correcting numerous non-standard conditions while replacing infrastructure that was at the end of its useful life.
We are excited to announce that the Spokane Airport intends to extend our contract through the end of 2017. T-O is proud of our team's continuous ability to quickly respond to work requests with a high quality work product and would like to recognize everyone who has had a role and continues to in this project.
