Job Description

T-O Engineers is looking for a licensed Project Surveyor for our Meridian, Idaho office.  Idaho PLS license a major plus. Minimum qualifications are LSI. Four-year degree in Surveying a plus. Project Surveyor will  report directly to the office Survey Manager. Must have strong communication and mathematical skills, be organized and ultimately capable of providing assistance in management of both small and large Civil and Survey projects; prepare land descriptions; prepare records of survey, subdivision and condominium plats; prepare and execute ALTA land title surveys; perform construction calculations as well as assist in field crew leadership and scheduling. Must be a good team player with a willingness to learn, must possess a positive attitude and ability to work occasionally in the outdoors as well as in a professional office environment. Strong AutoCAD/Civil 3D skills a major plus. Trimble GPS/RTK and Trimble Business Center experience also preferred. Microstation experience also a major plus. 

Position Requirements & Responsibilities Include:

  • Idaho PLS license & four-year surveying degree a major plus. 
  • Strong communication, organization and mathematical skills.
  • Physically fit with a willingness / enthusiasm to work outdoors as well as in a professional office environment.
  • Strong skills using AutoCAD / Civil 3D.
  • Trimble Business Center, GPS/RTK and Robotic Total Station experience a plus.
  • Microstation experience also a major plus. 
  • Self-motivated, team-oriented individual who is willing to listen with the ability to work on challenging projects in a team environment.
