Job Description

T-O Engineers is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer in our Meridian Corporate office with 15 or more years of experience and able to contribute to our firm as a Transportation Services Manager for transportation projects across the firm. Candidates need to have a PE license as well as have extensive design and management experience. Duties will include project management, business development, and providing leadership to our north Idaho & Spokane transportation lead and project managers across the firm. The Transportation Services Manager will provide strategic direction in the development of our firm’s design practice. Strong communication and computer skills are a must.

Position Requirements & Responsibilities Include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or higher
  • Idaho PE required or ability to obtain within 6 months
  • 15+ years minimum experience in the civil engineering field with public agency transportation projects, and at least 8 years in project management
  • 5+ years preferred experience managing a design team
  • Project experience and relationships with the Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) and local agencies
  • Ability to collaborate with our north Idaho and Spokane transportation lead and align resources to deliver quality projects to clients
  • Oversee business development and proposal generation for the firm’s transportation pursuits
  • Manage transportation design group in Meridian office to drive project delivery on-time and within budget
  • Self-motivated, team-oriented individual with the ability to stimulate/motivate a group of design professionals to work on challenging projects in a team environment.
