PROJECT:

6th Street North

Nampa, Idaho

Client

City of Nampa

Construction Value:

$2M

Overview:

T-O originally completed a ½ mile long water replacement on 6th

Street North in 2013.  The City of Nampa was very happy with the work that T-O Engineers completed and rewarded us with a  1.5-mile waterline replacement and full roadway reconstruction on the same road in 2015.###>

The project generally consists of replacing an existing 4”/6” water line with 12” PVC, pressurized irrigation replacement, stormwater improvements and roadway reconstruction.   Along with a full reconstruction of the roadway, bicycle and pedestrian facilities will also be improved.  Two railroad rights-of-ways were crossed requiring permitting for two waterline crossings and one surface improvement.  These permits were all received on-time and without delay to the project, by careful and early coordination with Union Pacific Railroad.

The 2015 project was successfully bid and construction is scheduled for the summer of 2016.   The City of Nampa is again very happy with the service they have received from T-O and plans to add an additional ½ mile to this project in the summer of 2016.
