Overview:

T-O Engineers has continuously provided consulting services at Coeur d’Alene Airport (COE) since 1991. Our accomplishments at COE Airport includes more than 30 projects with a cost of over $35 million.

  • Major projects have included:
  • Reconstruction of runways,
  • A Northside development project
  • Two Master Plans
  • New Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting Station
  • Equipment acquisitions
  • Multiple utility extension projects.

Our “flagship” project was the Northside development project. T-O  partnered with the airport to provide planning, design and construction management services for a $2.2 million landside infrastructure project, partially funded by the Economic Development Administration (EDA). This project opened up the north side of COE Airport to commercial and industrial development and brought Empire Airlines to the airport. T-O also worked with the FAA to secure over $6 million in FAA and State funding for a new 7,400 LF parallel taxiway, a 5.2 acre aircraft parking apron and a major upgrade to the airports electrical system. These projects formed the centerpiece for future aviation development on the airport.

Currently we are working with the airport on a Sustainability Management Plan, a Wildlife Hazard Assessment, rehabilitation of their general aviation parking ramp and many miscellaneous “on-call” tasks.
