Overview:

T-O Engineers provided planning, design and construction management services for this $2.2 million infrastructure project, funded by the Economic Development Administration (EDA). The project opened the north side of Coeur d’Alene Airport to commercial and industrial development and brought Empire Airlines to the airport.

T-O Engineers also provided support throughout the grant application and funding process, which required coordination with numerous stakeholders including Kootenai County, City of Hayden, Avondale Irrigation District, Hayden Area Regional Sewer Board, and Lakes Highway District. The project was fast-tracked successfully from conception through substantial completion in just over 16 months, and also came in under budget.

The EDA selected this project for a focus group meeting to identify the attributes of highly successful projects.
