Overview:

T-O Engineers has been Mountain Utility Company's (MUC) engineer since 2001, completing over a dozen wastewater projects.  T-O currently handles planning, permitting, annual reporting, design and construction administration for all MUC wastewater projects, and handles all compliance issues related to MUC’s Wastewater Reuse Permit.  T-O has worked with MUC to develop over 30 acres of new forest drip irrigation area for wastewater reuse and has converted an additional 20 acres of former spray irrigation are to drip irrigation.  T-O successfully completed MUC’s Reuse Permit renewal in 2015, which included extensive study of the drip irrigation process and impacts, including the use of “sub-snow” drip irrigation during the winter months.  

Other wastewater projects completed for MUC included:

  • Upgraded wastewater irrigation pump station
  • Over three miles of sewer force main 
  • Over two miles of new gravity sewer
