Overview:

T-O Engineers was selected by the Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) to provide project design delivery and project development of the SH-55 Snake River Bridge. Hydraulic services for the project included a hydraulic report for the existing and replacement bridge over the Snake River, bathymetric survey, scour analysis and protection, and storm drainage. The bridge itself, available for consideration for historic eligibility, required coordination with Idaho State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO) and ITD. Storm drainage work was closely coordinated with the biologic resources as the presence of the threatened Snake River Physa Snail was an ongoing concern throughout construction. In addition, T-O supported ITD in analysis and approvals for the bridge, city park and cultural resources.
